Are We an Informed Electorate?
This makes you think about the election process. Maybe we (Americans) need to rethink the party process.
I’m pulling for Paul
Dwight Eisenhower was elected with the support of a broad base. He appealed to democrats and republicans. During the Republican Convention when he was nominated there was a complaint that many democrats were influencing the Republican nomination. During that time there was a simple slogan in support of Eisenhower: “I like Ike.”
I like Ike. A simple sentence, to the point, that doesn’t take a treatise to explain. Ron Paul needs a statement that is just as simple and easy to repeat. Let me suggest the sentence: “I’m pulling for Paul.”
Do you have any ideas for a simple jingle? An example was “Eisenhower, the man of the hour.” Any thoughts?
